Documents needed for car finance
What documents do i need for car finance?
The documents you need to provide to enter into a car finance agreement are generally the same, no matter where you live in the UK.
Although you may need to submit some additional documentation, depending on your personal circumstances
The main documentation you need to submit for car finance is;
- Proof of your Identity – Your driving licence or passport
- Proof of your income – Your payslips or your bank statements
- Proof of your address – Generally a utility bill dated within the last 90 days, although other documents with your address on may be accepted.
Apart from the main documents required, some finance providers ask for different forms of documentation. As different people have different circumstances.
Once approved, the finance company will let you know what documents they require from you.
For example: being self-employed, you may need to show the finance company your business bank account. But then others will only request your bank statements.
We cannot guarantee you will be offered a car loan, nor can any other car finance lender.
What we do guarantee though, is that we will explore every option available for your current circumstances. Whether you are a self employed business owner, sub-contracting, and even in receipt of 100% benefits.
